If you love conflict, emotion and reading about sexy hot men and women, you have found a series that brings it wrapped up in steamy sensuality and intrigue. One caution, these books are not for anyone under the age. This is an adult series. Rated a hot X! Although it does have sexy scenes, it also has mystery, adventure, and action. And don’t forget it has supernatural characters bigger then life.

I loved this book. I loved the characters of Lance and Harmony and I enjoyed getting to know more about the breed history with the first Leo and his descendants. I look forward to reading Dane's book. It should be fun when it comes out. In this book we also get to know Jonas, Harmony's brother, better. I enjoyed this one much more than "Megan's Mark". Both are set in the same area and have some of the same characters. I really guess I liked the characters in "Harmony's Way" better. Lance just seemed like the perfect mate for Harmony...
It was action from the beginning no drawn out story. Lance change Death to Harmony because she didn't know who she was. All of her life was killing destruction and she didn't believe she had a future. Despite Jonas manipulation she realise Lance was her hope her future and wow hot sex made it even better
This an excellent storyline. The descriptive sexual parts could be reduced. At least half could be deleted. Glad to see Harmony's happy ending.
Before reading this book, you should begin reading the Breed Series in order. You will need to go to the author's website to get the correct reading order. This book is loaded with romantic erotica. For those who like this genre, I highly recommend it. If you are easily offended, then this is NOT the book for you.

The Paranormal part of the Breed series is that they are a cross between human and animal, which was forced on them by the evil ruling Council members who ran the labs. Some of the situations can be hard to take, however I would still recommend that you read it as the author does present some interesting character situations that really held my interest.
Lora Leigh continues her feline breeds saga with the addition of HARMONY'S WAY. These are not only sensual, erotic, tales but very well plotted suspense novels. We return to New Mexico where Megan, from MEGAN'S MARK, has started half-way house for the breeds.

Lance Jacobs is Megan's cousin and sheriff of Broken Butte, New Mexico. He has been asked to mentor a breed that is coming in from the cold and needs to spend six months before she can be set free by breed law. But this is a set-up by a breed lawyer for his own reasons and Lance must find a way to help the breed and deny the efforts of her brother. There is also a cult led by a Rev Alonzo who is set on fighting and destroying every breed that lives. He has his own agenda.

Harmony is a huntress, a lion breed, who was trained to kill and since her escape she has delivered her own version of Vigilante justice to those the law is unable or unwilling to prosecute. She is forced to come to Broken Butte and serve as a deputy for six months. Harmony has many secrets, not the least is the fact that she stole some very important papers when she escaped.

When Lance and Harmony meet there are fireworks, she immediately goes into the mating heat because Lance is her mate. They realize very quickly that someone has placed them togather and must have a plan.

Harmony trusts no one and Lance must fight his desire for her as well as her doubts about him. Forced into the intense, heat of the mating cycle they also have to fight known and unknown agents, who seem determined to either kill them or force Harmony to give up her dangerous secrets.

As with all of Lora Leigh's books you either love them or hate them. I really enjoy her explorations into the world of the Feline Breeds.
Harmony, also known as Death, is a breed that is given a second chance in redeeming herself by working with the local sheriff's office. Upon her arrival she meets Lance at a bar and the passion ensues with the first touch. Little does she know that he is the sheriff of the small town she has been forced to live in for the next six months.
From that night he was marked as her mate but as usual, she did what she does best and ran from him instead of embracing the lover she was destine to be with.
Although Lance is not a breed, he possesses the same alpha traits as the other males in Lora Leigh's steamy novels. I loved his character and his subtle dominance over her. He also has the ability to hear the voices in the wind that he once ignored but now that his mate is in danger he must rely on his gift to save Harmony.
As in all the other books the passion is just delicious. Lance was the perfect mate for Harmony. He was able to soothe the murderous beast inside her while still allowing her to be a strong heroin.
All in all, the book was fantastic and I can't wait for my other breed books to come in.
Eh. I didn't get these two. Didn't see the chemistry there. Honestly the thing that stopped me reading it was how often he called her "baby". I've never understood why this term of endearment is so popular. It's really annoying. I don't mind it here and there while reading, but it just didn't fit. Harmony seemed to be the kind of woman who would hate this nickname. Come on, she's supposed to be super assassin woman. And then if it's dropped after almost every sentence in the conversation between the two of them. Ugh. I just can't. The two of them were not believable to me. I think I'll skim the rest of the book.
