So I was ADDICTED to Extreme Honor, the 1st book in the series which i have read 4 times since it was released! I literally counted down the months, weeks, and days until Ultimate Courage's release date. I LOVE that it gives true realistic details about dog training, and that all of the dog characters are very developed with issues. Like Atlas had severe depression and ptsd. and the GSD in this book didn;t want to bite, and he had a troubled past. The info about living/working at the kennel is so detailed and vivid that this would be my dream life! I love being able to live in the lives of the characters for a while. If you can, buy and read these books; they are awesome! I can't wait for Absolute Trust to come out, and I will be counting down until it does! Until then, i will read extreme honor and ultimate courage a zillion times!

This book was so good! Read it in one sitting! Could not put it down! The stories and the characters just keep getting better and better! Looking forward to my "Xmas present" of the next book in December! You are an author I will definately continue to follow!
In the same vein as the others in the series, this is an enjoyable next installment in the series. I had a moment of annoyance that the hero could fall for the obvious ploy of a 'friend' but I forgave and read on.
Again... the balance between the 2 characters is incredible.. She is struggling and has a weak side, but is fighting her way back to the strong personality she use to be. He seems strong from the get go and then you find his struggles as the story goes. They both find they are fighting demons and are able to help each other get better.

LOVE IT.-- can be read alone, but you will better understand it if you read the 1st book. -- I have already pre-ordered #3.
I loved that this story took the time to let the characters get to know each other.
It had the hint of suspense but was not shoving danger down your throat every page.
Loved the sensitive alpha guys too.
My only complaint and the one star dropped id a minor one but is only because of Alex leaving when he just up and left her sitting when the whole story had been her being stalked and was in danger of being kidnapped. I just felt that it could have played out differently.
I love romances with strong men partnered with equally strong women. While the heroine, Elisa, may initially appear to be a damsel in distress because she is on the run from her crazy ex-fiance, her strength shines through in terms of her determination to live independently and to not ever give up hope. The pairing with Alex, a sexy former SEAL turned dog trainer who needs Elisa's help just as much as she needs him made for a great read with plenty of emotional depth to keep me hooked the whole time. The story is also peppered with a great supporting cast! My favorites include the hero's daughter, Boom, and his canine companion Souze. If you like your heroes Alpha and your heroines smart, then this is the book for you.
J I am about 130 pages in and so far in a word, BORING. Everyone is so sugary sweet that I practically have a toothache. There is waaay too much familiarity and personal stuff waaaay too soon, and just not very believable. The day to day drama has me already skipping over text and just reading the dialogue, waiting to get to some action or suspense. I would just move on to another book, but I don't have another book in waiting right now. Ho hum!
Read this as part of the on-going project to help a friend develop a booklist for her group, Adult Children of Parents with PTSD.

There is a lotta PTSD in this story, she has, he has it (with flashbacks), the dog has it. I was somewhat disturbed at the description of New Hope, PA as a quiet little town because when I new New Hope it was always littered with tourists.

I am reading this series all outta order but it doesn't seem to interfere with my ability to follow the story.

Quite fascinating to read about how they rehab military canines and it seems a good form of therapy for military with PTSD.
